Hello Reader, How are you this Monday? This is not the normal newsletter. I am writing to ask whether anyone in this community is leading or managing a non government organisation (NGO) in Sub Saharan Africa? OR Do you, Reader, know anyone who is running such an NGO/nonprofit organisation? What's New at Professional MindsIn addition to my early childhood advisory service, I will be starting a paid membership for women of African origin who own or lead NGOs/NON PROFIT organisations. I have a not-for-profit element of my company called Impact the Child. The website is in the pipeline and I will share it with you when it's ready! Under the umbrella of Impact the Child, next month, I will be starting a paid membership for women managing NGOs. Fees will be affordable. I am an advocate of 'African problems; African solutions'. For what I am doing, this means that as a woman of African origin I can be part of solving problems linked to access to high quality education in the early years in Sub Saharan Africa. And so.... I will be starting a paid membership to help women carve out sustainably-led centres of excellence when it comes to running their NGOs/nonprofit organisations. Such organisations will focus on supporting children from birth (including pre-term) to eight years of age. Presently, a percentage of all my fees earned from Professional Minds, goes towards supporting Impact the Child. How you, Reader, can helpIf you are or know of any female professionals of African origin, who fit the criteria, please send them my short survey. They should be working with and/or impacting young learners and their families, in Sub Saharan Africa. Here's the link for the survey, available until 5 March 2024: https://forms.gle/JGVtcsgxaKTawaJH9 Thank you!! Please look out for the normal Newsletter, next week. To a purposeful and impactful week ahead.
